Synopsis
Inspired by the thrills and spills of motor racing, the fantastical world of Franco and Formula Fun is the brand new top fuel property for children aged four to six years.
When Franco plays with his toy cars they come to life in a 3D racing world of fun. Franco is transported to a racing world in charge of ten superpower transforming race cars, each keen to win the ‘Continent Cup’. Each episode follows team leader Franco, as he pilots Arnie the Airplane, to one of the six continent racetracks for his team to enjoy a high-octane adventure in diverse landscapes ranging from the deserts of Africa to the lush rainforests of South America.
Under the watchful eye of Franco and Susie the Safety Car, the race is on! Who will win the Continent Cup? Will it be Super-Speed Zoomi, Super-Bendy Benita or one of the others? Or will the wild challenges, ranging from a tropical rainstorm to the dasterdly dealings of Super-Stealth Rossi, cause havoc. Gifted with superpowers, each car has the choice to engage his superpower skill once during the race; will it be to gain a competitive advantage, help the team or overcome an obstacle?
Children will love the accelerated antics of these beloved car characters, and parents will welcome this safe and age-appropriate introduction to the world’s many wonders.

The Inspiration:
Franco and Formula Fun uniquely characterises the global sport of motor racing for children.
“Can I play with your Ferrari please, Daddy?” It was this request that set the wheels in motion for Franco and Formula Fun; the question was asked by Bruno to his motor racing fanatic father, Simon, and referred to his valuable die-cast car collection. Bruno’s mum Marina helped him to understand the global nature of the motor racing world, teaching him about the many countries in which races are held. Soon other children were becoming interested, then teachers in classrooms…before long the concept for Franco and Formula Fun was born! What started as a boy’s enthusiasm for his father’s passion is now being launched as an entire children’s educational brand, with television and licensing opportunities.
